     {Opening Statement, perhaps how you heard about the trip and decided that it is God’s will for you to go. What exactly God’s purpose is for you on the trip.}

     The trip is to Derry, Northern Ireland and will take place July 2nd- July 14th 2015.  Our group will be participating in a weeklong event called iHeart Derry. iHeart is an annual event put on by the local church in Derry, it is designed to bring the community together and dissolve tension between the Nationalist and Loyalist parties showing God’s Love as an answer in place of violence. The event consists of five Kids Week / VBS locations, mobile medics, building playgrounds, community outreach projects, on street prayer, a football (soccer) tournament, etc.  Dozens of teams from all across the US and Europe will be joining together to bring God’s healing to Derry!

     Please keep me and the others on the team in your prayers.  We are excited to see what God has planned for us and to carry out His work!  Also, I ask that you consider making a financial and eternal investment in this endeavor.  The total cost is approximately $2,300.   You can send donations to Capitol City Vineyard Church 1635 Coolidge Rd. East Lansing, MI. Attn: Ireland, (insert your name) 48823.  In the memo of your check, write “Missions”.

Thank you for your prayers!  I am excited about the walk the Lord is taking me on, to prepare for this opportunity and what He has in store for Ireland! If you would like to keep up to date on the trip, learn more about Derry, and see specific prayer requests visit: http://derrymissiontrip.blogspot.com//
